The initial intervention was necessary, but the Arab states should be doing all the heavy lifitng from now on.

Not true. Unless you negotiate an employment agreement (a practice usually reserved for executives and upper management), your employment is "at will," meaning the employer can fire you at any time for practically any reason.

I think Gov. Walker's actions are going to reap a lot of unintended consequences that he will soon regret. The silver lining is that his audacious proposals are bringing some critical labor issues into the public consciousness.

We need real, proactive security measures. Anything is better than the current measures that inconvenience everyone with no apparent upside

Stop calling them "Mubarak supporters." These are paid thugs bent on sowing violence so the military has an excuse to forcibly remove the protestors.

Bentley needs to keep his personal religious views separate from his public responsibilities. He was attending in a public capacity.

Public interest/safety always comes first. If regs can be removed/changed without compromising the public interest, fine. Otherwise, don't.
